De qué va: Adaptación de la novela de Thomas Hardy “Lejos del mundanal ruido”, en la que una mujer fuerte e independiente en la Inglaterra victoriana deberá elegir entre tres posibles pretendientes.
Por qué se la espera: Tras la soberbia “La caza”, Vinterberg se puso al frente de esta producción protagonizada por Carey Mulligan, Michael Sheen, Matthias Schoenaerts y Juno Temple. A priori, tiene todos los ingredientes para triunfar: un reparto atractivo, una sólida base literaria y un buen director que viene de realizar uno de sus trabajos más potentes. Tras varios retrasos en su fecha de estreno, llegará en primavera, lo que apunta a un estreno en el festival de Cannes.
Atentos a: Los retrasos en el estreno han hecho que Vinterberg tenga ya casi terminada otra película, “Kollektivet”, sobre la vida en una comuna danesa en los años 70, en la que el director vuelve a contar con Trine Dyrholm y Ulrich Thomsen, espléndidos intérpretes daneses con los que ya trabajó en la magistral “Celebración”.

The Plot: Based on the novel by Thomas Hardy, the film tells the story of an independent woman who attracts three very different suitors.
Reasons for anticipation: After his masterpiece “The Hunt”, Vinterberg directed this production with Carey Mulligan, Michael Sheen, Matthias Schonaerts and Juno Temple. The movie has everything to be a success: a great cast, a solid literary base and a good director who has recently made one of his best films. The released date has been delayed several times, but it looks like we will finally see it next May in Cannes.
Keep in mind that: The film has been finished for a while and Vinterberg has been working on his next one, “Kollektivet”, about the life in a Danish commune in the 70s. In this film, the director works again with Trine Dyrholm and Ulrich Thomsen, fabulous Danish actors that had already worked with him in his amazing “The Celebration”.
